Our support for this program is for truly necessary circumstances and we want to strongly discourage anyone who does not absolutely need to bring their dog/cat due to hardship. Please make other arrangements.

Note 1.) During 'Event-time Season' (July-October), ALL dogs/cats left alone in shared housing must be crated at all times. NO dogs/cats will be left alone outside, even if fenced in or crated- when alone, they must be in a temperature-controlled, secure structure.

For staff who need to bring their dog to a work weekend, special event weekend, etc. for up to a week. Anything longer than a week should be approved for the normal program to attend any Burning Man Project property, at the Program Manager's discretion. Reach out to duchess@ or nipps@ with questions.
If you're applying for a Guest / Visitor's Permit, please make sure to read, understand and observe all rules, protocols and behavioral standards of the Program and for each Property you intend to visit- BEFORE you visit it.
Each Visitor's Permit lasts a season for the specific property you got permission for, so apply for all of the relevant properties at once for best results.
A Burning Man Property Manager can require a new application is submitted at any time for any relevant reason and has the right to rescind permission for any breach of Policy or protocol.
