LIBAGON, SOUTHERN LEYTE – In preparation for its 80th anniversary and a future of global engagement, the Administrative Council, along with selected staff and faculty members of STAC, participated in a three-day seminar on Strategic Institutional Planning for 2025-2030 from February 21 to 23 in Libagon, Southern Leyte.
The seminar was led by internationalization expert Mrs. Jennifer Montero, who provided insights into long-term strategic planning, global academic trends, and institutional development. Discussions focused on enhancing STAC’s curriculum, research initiatives, and partnerships to align with international education standards.
This initiative marks a significant step in STAC’s commitment to strengthening its academic foundation and ensuring sustainability in the coming years. With its 80th-anniversary celebration approaching, the institution is determined to refine its vision and strategies to remain at the forefront of education.
With a clear roadmap for the future, STAC is poised to become a globally recognized institution, fostering academic excellence and international collaboration for years to come.
BAYBAY CITY, LEYTE – Thomasian student leaders actively participated in the 2nd Regional Student Leadership Summit held at RDE Hall, VSU Baybay City, Leyte.
Alongside delegates from across the region, they engaged in brainstorming sessions, collaboration, and leadership discussions, all aimed at inspiring change and shaping the future. The summit provided a platform for students to enhance their leadership skills and expand their network, reinforcing their commitment to making a meaningful impact.

The Pioneers Team emerged as the back-to-back overall champion of STAC’s 2025 Intramural Games, outscoring the Vanguards Team by over 100 points.
With outstanding performances across various events, the Pioneers dominated the competition, showcasing skill, teamwork, and determination. Their consecutive victory solidifies their status as a powerhouse in STAC’s intramural history.
The thrilling rivalry between the two teams added excitement to the games, further fostering school spirit and camaraderie among students.

The highly anticipated comeback of the Miss STAC Icon 2025 was an unforgettable event that took place on March 1, 2025, with the winner hailing from the Pioneers Team, Ms. Uenice Patrisha Moralita of the College Department. The pageant showcased an exceptional display of talent, beauty, and grace, culminating in Ms. Moralita’s stunning victory.
The evening was made even more special by the serenade performance of ABS-CBN artist Yuki Takamoto, who added a touch of glamour and entertainment to the event. His heartfelt performance captivated the audience and elevated the overall experience for the candidates and attendees.
Ms. Uenice Patrisha Moralita’s win marks a significant achievement for the Pioneers Team, further solidifying their legacy as a dominant force in both athletic and cultural events at STAC.
