Stacks ("the app", "we") is a personal notebook app for money, bills, groceries, and the other parts of your life. This policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: everything you enter stays on your device, and we don't collect it.
What we collect
Nothing. Stacks has no account, no sign-up, and no servers of our own. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.
Where your data lives
Everything you put into Stacks — your notebooks, income, expenses, bills, receipts, prices, workouts, notes, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to export it (see below). We have no access to it.
Backups and export
Stacks lets you export all your data to a single file so you can back it up or move to a new phone. That file is created on your device and goes wherever you send it (for example, your own cloud drive or a message). What happens to an exported file after that is under your control, not ours.
Network and permissions
Stacks is designed to work fully offline and does not send your data to any server. The app may include the standard Android internet permission used by its framework, but your notebook data is never uploaded.
Analytics, ads, and third parties
Stacks contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. Nothing about your usage is reported to us or anyone else.
Children's privacy
Stacks is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no data, no personal information from children (or anyone) is gathered.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Since the app is local-first, any change would relate to new features rather than data collection.
