Stack Mail Privacy Policy

Stack Mail is an email client for Android developed by StackMail team. This connects to user's Exchange server to send and retrieve emails. We are committed to protect the user personal data.

How Stackmail connect to user's Exchange/Office 365 Server

Stack Mail is not cloud based solution our app directly connect to the user's Exchange/Office 365 Server. Even we don't know to which server user is connected to. Messages directly send and retrieved from the app to the user's mail server.

Information protection

Sensitive data like user credentials are encrypted and stored locally. We never collect user's email address or any personal information.

Security

Stack Mail by default uses SSL(Secure Socket Layer) so the data transmitted across the network is in encrypted form.

Data Disclosure

Since we are not collecting any user information for analytics purpose. StackMail will never collect any logs in background. User has to share the logs files with our support team.

Permissions

• Read/modify your Contacts
• The names and email addresses in the user’s address book (contacts) are used to provide suggestions and auto-complete recipients when composing a message.
• Read from/write to Storage (Photos/Media/Files)
• The storage area is used to save attachments or export app settings. It can also be used to import app settings or select files to attach to a message the user is composing.
