Final Product

After deciding to do this project, we got permission from our town government to begin raising money.We set a goal of raising $1,000 We held a fundraiser at a local restaurant along with a raffle. After that we had raised $400 almost half of our goal. After these fundraiser we were contacted by our local newspaper who wanted to do an article about us. After that article was published we got numerous calls from people who wanted to make donations. After accepting these donations we were very close to our fundraising goal. At this point we decided to stop fundraising and start buying supplies.

We purchases basic supplies such as paint brushes, tarps, paint scrapers, and rope from local stores in Westford. Then we went to purchase our paint from Lynch Paint Center in Westford. After explaining to the owner what we had planned to use the paint for, he generously donated all of the paint we needed to us.

On June 15th, 2019 we held a volunteer run clean up day at the park. We had many people from all over Westford come to help at the park.
