Volunteer Opportunities

Food Pantry

We need approximately 25 volunteers for food distribution activities each Saturday.  Volunteers carry out a variety of assignments, including setting up the site, organizing food items, greeting, placing food items into the cars, and assisting at the walk-up table. For more information on what the pantry volunteers do, click here.  No training or special skills are necessary – only a caring heart and a smiling face.

Food Donation Pick-up

All of the food distributed to the needy is donated, with volunteers picking up donations from Walmart, Target, Albertsons, Smart and Final, Grocery Outlet, and Second Harvest Food Bank. Additional drivers are needed. The commitment is one to two hours of your time weekly. Volunteers can pick up donations with their car, truck, van, or SUV or help others pick them up from our donation centers. If you would like an informational flier, you can click here.
