Celebrating Success
At St John Ogilvie High School we love to celebrate the achievements that our young people have outwith the school day. Below you can see a number of our pupils' fantastic successes in recent times.

This could be sports clubs, music, arts and crafts, completing challenges or their unique and interesting hobbies. We want to recognise and celebrate all of their achievements.
Zac Gilchrist - "Zac has been awarded the Golden Glove award for his goalkeeping performances for his football club this year (Blantyre Celtic 2011s) - for the 2nd year in a row!"

Sarah Garrow - "Sarah actively takes part in the charity work carried out by St. Ninian's and St Cuthbert’s Parish Church. She helps me (her mum) buy food for the SVDP food bank, which is collected every second month at 11am Mass. Recently she helped me make up socks which contained toiletries. We dropped them off at the Martinmas fair held at the Mir centre on November 11th. 104 filled socks where collect at the event and handed into the drop in centre for the homeless. She also helped me make up Christmas gifts and gift bags that were given to Sandra, from the One World Group and they were used as raffle prizes at the event. The One World Group raised almost £1000 which was sent to Mary’s meals and SCIAF. She enjoys helping me whenever I am doing something for the various Chapel groups, particularly when it involves helping those less fortunate and in need of help and support."
