Skills for Learning, Life and Work
Skills for Learning, Life and Work
In S2 and S3, our curriculum is structured to provide learners with meaningful opportunities for Project Based Learning through a wide range of Skills for Learning, Life and Work (SFLLW) projects. These include:
Games Design, Spanish Culture, My Health Your Health, CSI Burnbank, Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI), Mission Mars, Disasters and Emergency Response, Sewing, Print Making, The John Muir Award, Barista Skills, Sports Leadership, Film Making, SFA Football Refereeing, Bee Keeping, Parenting Skills, and Mandarin.
Through these projects, learners develop practical, real-world skills alongside key attributes such as teamwork, problem-solving, communication, creativity, and resilience. The SFLFW programme is designed to support personal growth, promote independent learning, and equip students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in future learning, employment, and life beyond school.
