Retreats
In May 2024 we ran our second Team retreat at the Foxhill retreat Centre in Frodsham, which took a group of 20 people for the full weekend and 7 people just for the day on Saturday from across the team and other churches. The group worshiped together, reflected on what we believe through a series of reflections on the Nicene Creed led by Rev'd Malcolm.

We were all again encouraged by how this year's retreat went, and have booked another retreat at Foxhill from 16th to 18th May 2025.

The group worshiped together, reflected on the elements of faith through the prism of 5 events of holy week, through a series of reflections led by Rev'd Malcolm.
In May 2023 we ran a Team retreat at the Foxhill retreat Centre in Frodsham, which took a group of 20 people for the full weekend and 5 people just for the day on Saturday from across the team and other churches. The group worshiped together, reflected on the elements of faith through the prism of 5 events of holy week, through a series of reflections led by Rev'd Malcolm.
May 2022 saw us run our first Team retreat in recent history, which took a group of 11 people from St James' Daisy Hill, St John's Wingates, and St John's Farnworth to spend a long weekend together in a beautiful part of North Norfolk. The group worshiped together, reflected on the life of St Peter through a series of reflections led by Rev'd Malcolm, and made a visit to the Anglican and Roman Catholic Shrines in Walsingham. The group was fortunate to be able to share a service at the well in Walsingham with over 100 of our Coptic Orthodox brothers and sisters from Brighton. On Sunday we joined the congregation of Our Lady St Mary in South Creake, along with a group of Pilgrims from Belper at Sunday Mass at the Church.
