The string theory group at IIT Kanpur is involved in research on several interesting areas including gauge /gravity duality, flat spacetime holography, fluid/gravity correspondence, thermalization, quantum information and gravity, second laws in general relativity, string theory and its singular limits, non-equilibrium physics, conformal bootstrap, among others.
