Together with Westside Anglican Church and the Parents Support Group, the school would like to thank all parents, children/ siblings and friends who came for the Children’s Day celebration cum Open House on 28 Sep 2019.

This was a free event open to the students and families of SACCDC and the general public to help raise funds for upkeep and maintenance of SACCDC.

*Ms Chia is the managing partner of Learning Vessels which manages the Early Learning Programme, an intervention-based literacy and numeracy programme for children without the required foundations.

**Dr. Rebecca Chan is an outstanding international speaker on Early Childhood Education and Art Education. She designs and develops professional learning and development programmes by engaging teachers and leaders in creative and critical thinking activities with the intention of leading them to becoming self-motivated and independent learners.

In the course of her research works, she had developed a framework to interpreting children's drawings to read information of content-knowledge and thinking processes. Her research is useful for parents and teachers caring/working with mainstream children and/or children with special needs. It empowers teachers and parents to plan activities or curriculum by connecting with young children's immediate needs & conceptual interests with the aim of extending children's thinking and learning through meaningful interactions and planned creative activities.
