Welcome to the SSUNAA - Charlotte Chapter 

The Charlotte chapter is an extension of the Savannah State National Alumni Association. As a member of a the local chapter, you  will renew old and create new friendships through activities that may include sponsoring athletic watch parties and tailgates, assisting with student recruitment in the geographic area, fundraising and hosting university support related events.

2024 Mission & Vision: 

• Promoting health & local black businesses - The chapter participates in Mad Mile Run on Tuesdays, join us and rock your paraphernalia. Our chapter meetings are held at different black businesses and we are always interested in suggestions.

• Establishing our root in Charlotte - spread our name and awareness within Charlotte Mecklenburg School system by volunteering and recruiting within the school system. This will allow us to promote & pique interest of many, to our beloved School by the Sea.

• Increasing membership and facilitating  a number of  Fundraising events, to award scholarship to at least one deserving student a $500 - $1000 scholarship and sponsor a table at the Savannah State Annual Gala.
