Who can attend : BSc and MSc Physics students

Registration Fee: Nil

Food & Refreshments : Will be provided by the organisers

Travel & Accommodation : To be borne by the participants. Selected participants can arrange their own accommodation. However, a low cost accommodation can be arranged, upon request and payment, in the Xavier's hostel for the out-stationed participants.

Accommodation Charges: Rs 150 - 200 per day (at St Xavier's Boy's Hostels); Rs 200 per day (at HDRC Hostels, mainly for female participants). Students would need to bring a bed-sheet and a pillow cover for themselves.

Selection Criteria: In case of large number of applications, preference will be given to students,

1. Currently pursuing BSc / MSc / PhD in Physics

2. With prior exposure to Astronomy / Astrophysics or any other branch of Theoretical Physics

3. With higher CGPA / percentage of marks

4. Maximum two students from an institution

Note: A letter of intent, a letter of recommendation can be asked or/and an interview can be conducted, if required, to shortlist the participants. A few other physics enthusiasts can be admitted if seats are left. Shortlisted candidates will be notified through email.

Certification of Participation: To be given, subject to satisfactory participation.
