Robotic Mobile Fulfillment System
The RMFS is a system controlled by a central system that includes components such as robots, pods, and picking stations. It determines rules to assign racks and has mobile robots move them to picking stations in a specific order, reducing the distance that pickers have to move between racks and picking stations, thereby improving the picking efficiency of the warehousing system.
This system involves many different interrelated decision problems, including order selection and order allocation, pod assignment and pod sequence, pod storage location allocation, robot task allocation, and robot path planning.
Semiconductor Manufacturing
From semiconductor design to production, every detail is critical to achieving sustainable expansion. This includes minimizing energy consumption, reducing water consumption, and responsible sourcing throughout the entire life cycle from raw material mining to end-of-life product management. The semiconductor assembly process is a series of processes that include packaging, testing, and assembly activities. In the current process, cost process cost has become a major consideration for semiconductor manufacturers because of expensive resources, long processing time, and long setup time for product transfer.
Recharging Scheduling Problem in Transportation and Production System
As the world's climate changes, many countries' public transportation is gradually electrifying. However, due to the limitations of electric bus charging and battery capacity, it is important to decide whether each bus needs to be charged and how much power it needs to be charged. In this study, by determining the start charging time, continuous charging time, and post-trip charging amount of each trip, the value of the decision target is finally obtained, and a better charging arrangement that can be applied to actual scenarios is obtained.
