SSM-iCrop
SSM-iCrop is based on SSM-Wheat. It currently simulates grain legumes, wheat and maize. Except for phenology, all other processes like leaf area development and senescence, dry mass production, yield formation, soil water and nitrogen balance are simulated with identical code. A multilayer soil is simulated. An estimate of N fixation in legumes is provided.
