14 Sep 2020 - We said farewell to Dr. Kai Zong before his flight back home to China where he will begin a postdoc at Shenzen University. Congrats, Kai!!
10 Sep 2020 - Dr. Zhuoqiang Jia's manuscript, "Reversible solid-state phase transitions in confined two-layer colloidal crystals" has been accepted to Colloid and Polymer Science! This was a collaboration with the Sacanna group at NYU Chemistry, with contributions from our former undergrad researcher Alex Samper.
31 Aug 2020 - Yi's manuscript "Lithium and Chlorine-Rich Preparation of Mechanochemically Activated Antiperovskite Composites for Solid-State Batteries," along with undergrad Michael DeVita, Dr. Joah Han and Prof. Jae Chul Kim as PI to Frontiers in Chemistry!
03 Jun 2020 - Yi's first 1st author paper, "Probing Lattice Vibrations of Stabilized CsPbI3 Polymorphs via Low-Frequency Raman Spectroscopy," has been accepted to Journal of Materials Chemistry C! This paper was a collaboration w/ the Strauf and Podkolzin groups, with contributions from alum Dr. Xiaoqing Kong and undergrad researcher Nick Sparta. Congrats all!

4 Mar 2020 - Former undergraduate researcher Jessica Persaud wins 1st place in the Northern and Central Jersey Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association (AWMA) Student Poster Competition. She presented on her work with Dr. Xiaoqing Kong on the water induced gelation of metal halide perovskite precursor solutions. Congrats, Jessica!!
28 Feb 2020 - Yi is awarded the Stevens Graduate Student Conference Fund to present an oral talk at the American Physical Society March Meeting in Denver, CO. Congrats, Yi!
