Where All This Came From

This website is a compilation of resources used in a class taught at Fabius-Pompey Middle School/High School in Fabius, NY. My name is Phil Cavo. I am a Spanish teacher here at Fabius-Pompey and this past year I taught an elective course for the first time called "Senior Seminar: Life After High School". I've posted some of the tools and materials we used throughout the school year with hopes that graduating students may find them helpful at some point in their young adult lives.

This course aims to better prepare students for life after high school, specifically focusing on skills and knowledge that may not have been gained throughout the course of their formal education. The lessons draw upon the wisdom of faculty and community members to help students anticipate and respond to the challenges of the “real world”. Upon successful completion of this course, students will find themselves more confident and better informed as they take their next steps into higher education, the military, or the workforce.
