Due to COVID-19 all classes will be conducted virtually.
Kids Who Code is a nonprofit organization founded to teach kids how to code and about various STEM disciplines. The participants will have the opportunity to learn about the field of computer science. Our workshops & classes are intended to get kids excited about coding and technology. We hope to inspire kids to learn new things, and develop an interest in engineering. Attend a workshop near you today!
Q: What is the age limit to attend?
A: The basic Scratch workshop is for kids ages 8 and older. Anyone who is eager to learn can attend. Other workshops have their own age requirements.
Q: Do I need to have prior experience?
A: No prior experience needed for the Scratch workshop. Just come, be ready to learn, and ask questions if you don’t understand. Some other workshops require prior experience.
Q: What supplies do I need to bring?
A: Bring a laptop or iPad that will be able to download the specific coding program. The students will be emailed the name of the program and instructions on how to download it closer to the program date.
Q: How much money each workshop cost?
A: Fee varies for each camp. Some camps will have an associated fee for cost of supplies.
