I am a Research Associate at the Institute for Imaging, Data and Communications (IDCoM) at the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom (since November 2024), working with Professor Tharm Ratnarajah. My work focuses on 6G non-terrestrial networks, semantic communication, satellite–terrestrial ISAC, and hybrid classical–quantum techniques for future wireless connectivity. Before this, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Networking Intelligence Laboratory at Kyung Hee University, South Korea (March 2024 to November 2024), where I worked with Professor Choong Seon Hong on federated learning and intelligent resource management for space–air–ground integrated networks. I completed my PhD in Computer Engineering at Kyung Hee University in February 2024 under the supervision of Professor Choong Seon Hong. I earned my BS in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Pakistan, in August 2017. Alongside my research, I serve as a Guest Editor and Editorial Board Member for international journals and regularly review for leading journals from IEEE, ACM, Elsevier, Wiley, IET, and MDPI. I published widely in IEEE journals and conferences, contributed to international 6G research projects and graduate supervision, and I am open to research collaborations, joint projects, and interdisciplinary partnerships.
