I am a Research Associate at the Research Institute of Sensors, Signals and Systems (ISSS), Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, working with Professor Mathini Sellathurai on 6G non-terrestrial networks, semantic communication, satellite–terrestrial ISAC, and hybrid classical–quantum techniques for future wireless connectivity. Previously, I was a Research Associate at IDCoM, University of Edinburgh (with Professor Tharm Ratnarajah), and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Kyung Hee University, South Korea (with Professor Choong Seon Hong), focusing on federated learning and resource management for space–air–ground integrated networks. I received my PhD in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University (2024) and my BS in Electrical Engineering from NUCES, Pakistan (2017). I also serve as an Associate Editor for IEEE IOTJ, a Guest Editor, and an Editorial Board Member for international journals and review for leading IEEE, ACM, Elsevier, Wiley, IET, and MDPI venues. I am open to research collaborations, joint projects, and interdisciplinary partnerships.

[05/2026] We submitted a work titled Large Language Model-Native 6G Networks: A Survey of Architectures, Enablers, Challenges, and Opportunities, to IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials.
[04/2026] Joined the Editorial Board of the IEEE Internet of Things Journal as an Associate Editor.
[04/2026] Our work, Joint Beamforming and Trajectory Optimization for Multi-UAV-Assisted Integrated Sensing and Communication Systems, is published in IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.
