Sheikh Salman Hassan is a Lecturer in Computer Science at Oxford Brookes University, UK. He previously served as a Research Associate at Heriot-Watt University and the University of Edinburgh, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Kyung Hee University, South Korea, where he also earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering (2024). He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from FAST-NUCES, Pakistan (2017).
His research focuses on 6G non-terrestrial networks (NTN), space–air–ground integrated networks (SAGIN), semantic communications, satellite–terrestrial integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), quantum machine learning, and federated learning.
Dr. Hassan serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Internet of Things Journal, alongside roles as Guest Editor and Editorial Board Member for international journals. He actively reviews for leading IEEE, ACM, Elsevier, Wiley, IET, and MDPI venues and welcomes research collaborations and joint project opportunities.
