Presenter instructions
These instructions have been compiled to assist you in preparing your talk for the upcoming SSDUGI-2022 virtual conference. In order to ensure a seamless virtual conference, presentations must be pre-recorded and sent to the organizers by the registered authors. These will then be streamed by a single host at the time of the conference.
How to create and send your presentation
1. Record your presentation (slides and narration) directly in PowerPoint ensuring a prominent view of presentation slides. Details on how to do this can be found here.
2. Your presentation should be exported to an MP4 file, with no compression. Do this using the Export option in PowerPoint. Please use ‘HD’ format.
3. Please send us 2 files: (i) your uncompressed presentation file (.mp4) and (ii) your PowerPoint file (.pptx). If you wish to present any additional videos during your presentation, please send these files as well.
4. The link to your file should be emailed to ssdugi2022@gmail.com
5. Save the videos using your abstract ID (Ex. SSDUGI_1)
Presentation format
1. Your presentation file must not exceed 15 slides. Keep track of your recorded audio to not exceed 8 minutes for presentation.
2. You may make use of any slide template/design you wish.
3. An aspect ratio of 16:9 is recommended to suit modern computer and laptop monitors.
4. Please be aware of the size and visibility of your text and figures. (You may want to make use of the PowerPoint zoom functionality.)
5. Please avoid videos where possible, but if needed send these separately to ssdugi2022@gmail.com
