Dr. Prashant K Gupta is currently working as an Associate Professor at School of Computer Science Engineering & Technology, Bennett University, Greater Noida, India. He has previously worked as a Scientist at Leibniz Institute for Agriculture Engineering and Bioeconomy, Germany and as a Researcher at German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, Germany. He received the B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in 2008 and 2012, respectively, both from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, India and the PhD degree in 2019 from South Asian University, India. He has authored several books on AI with International Publishers. He has contributed countless research publications in various journals, core A-ranked conferences and book chapters. Some of the top-tier venues where his publications appeared are IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, Neurocomputing (Elsevier), Information Sciences (Elsevier), Fuzzy Sets and Systems (Elsevier), Applied Soft Computing (Elsevier), Granular Computing (Springer), FUZZ- IEEE, IEEE-IJCNN, and IEEE SMC. He has been invited as a resource person to deliver various interesting talks on current AI technologies of which the latest one was on "Big Data Architecture & Big Data Tools". He has chaired special sessions at various core A-ranked conferences like FUZZ-IEEE, WCCI, etc. He is serving as a reviewer in various SCI and SCIE journals of international repute like Information Sciences (Elsevier), Expert Systems with Applications (Elsevier), Computers & Industrial Engineering (Elsevier), Knowledge-Based Systems (Elsevier), Applied soft computing (Elsevier), Electronic Commerce Research and Applications (Elsevier), Egyptian Informatics Journal (Elsevier), Complex & Intelligent Systems (Springer), etc. He is also a recipient of various reputed national fellowships from the government of India as well as from international bodies like IEEE Computational Intelligence Society. His research interests include fuzzy systems, computing with words, AI, E-Health, explainable AI, generative AI, hybrid learning and reasoning, hybrid learning and planning for collision-free navigation of autonomous cars, etc.Â
