We enjoyed a wonderful parents' lunch with around 300 parents participating at the beginning of our school year 2025/26! Our Principal, Mr. Kelvin Lo and Deputy Principal, Mr. Navin Tsui, were our honoured guests, taking the opportunity to engage in conversations with families from different grades.
Although we had to reschedule the lunch due to the typhoon last week, the event turned out to be a fantastic success! The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with laughter, delicious food, and a strong sense of community! We also had the pleasure of introducing our PTA Executive Committee members and Class Representatives, as well as sharing a sneak peek of the upcoming Family Fun Day and introducing the Christian Parents' Fellowship & SoSo Club.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this delightful celebration of our first PTA event of the school year! Looking forward to the next event!

The Family Fun Day was held under beautiful skies on our vibrant campus in February 2026. We want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone for your amazing support, which led to record-breaking ticket sales and attendance this year!
The event would not have been so successful without your teamwork and the time you dedicated to preparing class booths and assisting with various tasks throughout the day. Parents, children, and friends came together for a day full of funโfeaturing game booths, parent-child activities, magic shows, musical and singing performances, and chugging competitions! The โBest Carnival Vibe Awardโ was also presented to the most creatively decorated booths.
Thank you for showing the incredible spirit of SSCPS and for sharing joy and love across our community.

โLearning from the Development of Sports from the 15th National Gameโ Parents & Students Seminar was held at school in January 2026, featuring members of the remarkable HKSAR Handball Team. Their incredible achievement of reaching the semi-finals and securing a historic 4th place finish has filled us all with pride.
A special thank you to our esteemed speakers:
Mr. Hui Man Pong - Head Coach
Mr. Tse Wing Fai - Captain
Mr. Lee Siu Chung - Team member
Coach Hui, who has participated in 5 National Games as player and coach, shared how all HKSAR players have developed strong friendships with athletes from other provincial teams.ย Outside of competitions, they even train together. Itโs like a national family of handball athletes!
Their insights and personal experiences provided invaluable perspectives on the journey to becoming an elite athlete. The discussions about dedication, teamwork, and perseverance inspired parents and students alike.
We hope this seminar has sparked curiosity and motivation in our future athletes.

To further raise awareness and support those in need, PTA organized another community service activity on June 14, 2025 in collaboration with A Drop of Life, concluding our final community service activity of this school year.
A total of 56 students and 56 parents came together to visit the elderly who live alone, despite the rainy weather. The day began with packing 120 goodie bags filled with daily essentials such as hand sanitizers, tissues, noodles, and healthy snacks etc.
The students then delivered the bags to 20 homes in groups. The elderly were thrilled to receive our kindness, making the event an unforgettable experience for our students. Thank you to all participants for sharing our love with the community!

Our school community took part in the Drop of Life- AVEDA charity walk on May 11, 2025 at Ma Wan 1868, a wonderful initiative that combined family bonding, outdoor activity, and charitable giving. Beyond fundraising, the event provided an opportunity for parents, students, and teachers to come together while enjoying the scenic trails of Ma Wan, making Motherโs Day weekend even more special.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Principal Mr. Kelvin Lo, Deputy Principal Mr. Navin Tsui, Ms. Rose Cheung, and Ms. Katie Wong for their leadership and support. Events like this strengthen our schoolโs spirit of service and demonstrate the power of collective effort.
Ma Wan 1868 is a revitalization project for tourism initiated by the HKSAR Government. This scenic location is rich in cultural heritage, making it perfect for a relaxing and memorable family day out.
Thank you to all participants for making a difference. We are proud to see our community turning compassion into action!
