Join the Safe Space Community (SSC) as a Volunteer Speaker and help promote mental health awareness through meaningful conversations. As a speaker, you’ll share insights, experiences, or knowledge in SSC webinars and events, contributing to safe, engaging, and impactful discussions. You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with others and support our advocacy for mental health and well-being.

—Most SSC volunteer tasks are done online. However, outreach programs may require in-person participation.
—Yes. We only accept volunteers aged 15 years old and above.
—No. We accept membership applications year-round.
—After you submit your application form, the admins will review your requirements. If approved, you will be contacted and added to the SSC Volunteers Facebook group chat. For the first six (6) months, you will serve as an on-call volunteer. After this period, we will assess your participation and performance in volunteer work. If qualified, you may be invited to become a committee member.
—No. You don’t need to be a student or a professional in the field of Psychology or a Social Work or have prior experience to be an SSC member and/or volunteer. We welcome anyone willing to learn, contribute, and commit time and effort to SSC.
