IMBeR SSC Meeting 2020

Moving from a Physical to Virtual Meeting

It is very sad that we are no longer able to meet physically in Tokyo for the annual IMBeR SSC meeting. It is particularly unfortunate that we will not get the chance to meet our new SSC members in person.

With attendees spread across 12 time zones, it is not realistic to imagine that we could replicate a 2-day physical meeting as a virtual meeting. To respond to this challenge, we have designed a format that we hope will still achieve everything we want from the meeting, maintain enthusiasm, be as productive as possible, and reduce the pain of a lengthy virtual process.

Using this Website

We will use this website as the place to find everything you need for the meeting: reports, agenda, scheduling, links for calls, etc.

All updates / revisions / changes in scheduling, agenda items or other 'need-to-knows' will be reflected in the website as soon as they are confirmed.

The website will also be a live record of the meeting by documenting minutes of the meeting (in draft form), Action Items arising, written comments and questions submitted, as well as outputs from the tasks and activities conducted during the meeting.
