committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we
collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
* Quiz scores, progress, streaks, and bookmarks — stored locally on your device
* An anonymous player ID (randomly generated, not linked to your identity) — used for Battle Mode matchmaking and Daily Challenge leaderboard
* Battle game data (answers, scores) — temporarily stored in Firebase for real-time multiplayer
* Questions you flag or report — sent to our Firebase database for quality review
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally
identifiable information unless you voluntarily enter a display name in Settings.
How We Use Data
* Anonymous player IDs are used only for Battle Mode and the Daily Challenge leaderboard
* Battle data is deleted automatically after 24 hours
* Firebase Remote Config is used to deliver app configuration and content updates
* Groq AI (via a secure Cloudflare Worker proxy) is used to generate AI explanations when you tap "AI Trick" — the question text, answer options, and correct answer are sent to Groq's servers to generate a response
* No data is sold to third parties
Advertising
We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect:
* Device advertising ID (AD_ID)
* App usage data for ad personalisation
You can opt out of personalised ads in your device Settings → Google → Ads →
Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
Third-Party Services
This app uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
* Google AdMob — advertising
* Firebase / Google Cloud — real-time battle data, app config
* Groq — AI-powered explanations (accessed via a Cloudflare Worker proxy, no data stored by us on our own servers)
* Google Play Services — in-app reviews
Data Retention
* Local device data: retained until you uninstall the app
* Battle Mode data on Firebase: auto-deleted after 24 hours
* Error reports: retained for up to 90 days for quality improvement
Children's Privacy
This app is designed for users aged 13 and above (16+ in some jurisdictions).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us immediately.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of any data associated with your anonymous player ID
by contacting us. Since player IDs are randomly generated and not linked to
your identity, uninstalling the app effectively removes all your local data.
