This part of the website isn't quite finished yet, but you can still view the page while we work on it.
This page contains information that can better help you understand how the Queue works on our website.
The Current Status section indicates whether or not we're taking commissions at all.
While the Current Status is showing Active, we will be accepting commissions until further notice. This usually means that we'll accept commissions on a first-come, first-served basis (unless clearly stated otherwise on the Queue) for as long as slots are available.
While the Current Status is showing Inactive, we will not be accepting commissions during that time. There shouldn't be any open slots.
We utilize a slot-based commission system in order to allocate and manage the number of orders we take at a time.
Slots can be marked as:
Open,
Closed, or
Opening soon.
If you're unfamiliar with slot-based commission openings, don't worry! Think of a slot as a secured order. When you take a slot, you're securing your order. Read on for more information about how we mark slots on the Queue!
If a slot is marked as Open, you can take that slot. Contact us or fill out the order form to get your commission going. Don't wait too long though! Slots are usually secured on a first-come, first-served basis (unless clearly stated otherwise on the Queue).
If a slot is marked as Closed, this means somebody else has claimed that slot and can no longer be taken.
Sometimes, we'll list additional slots, but have it marked as Opening soon (with a lowercase "s" and in a light grey font) instead of Open. When a slot is marked as Opening soon, it means that we have plans to open up that particular slot soon. You'll have to keep up with us on social media in order to find out when exactly these slots open.
Sometimes, we'll have a waitlist up to queue people waiting to secure a commission slot. When this waitlist is opened, people who weren't able to secure a slot will be put on this list and given priority to securing future slot openings.Â
While the Waitlist is showing Open, you can contact us regarding your interest in commissioning us, even if there aren't any slots open! People on the Waitlist get priority on slot openings. Sometimes, a list of people on the Waitlist may be publicly viewable on the Queue when the Waitlist is open.
While the Waitlist is showing Closed, it means that the Waitlist is not available at this time. When this happens, slots are usually given on a first-come, first-served basis without any sort of priority picking (unless clearly stated otherwise on the Queue).
The Turnaround Times section on the Queue is there to give you a rough estimate of how long it might take us to complete an order. Turnaround times listed on the Queue are never guaranteed, and only serve to help you set expectations regarding how long your order could potentially take. Lower turnaround times are usually associated with less complex orders, and higher turnaround times are usually associated with very complex orders.
The Current Estimate indicates how long you should expect your order's turnaround time to be if you were to commission us right now.
The Turnaround Range provides information about our shortest and longest turnaround times of all time. This does not necessarily indicate how long your order would take if you were to commission us right now.
Note: In the future, the Turnaround Range may be removed from the Turnaround Times section on the Queue to help prevent any confusion regarding turnaround times. This decision is still pending.
