The 19th Annual SingleSpeed Arizona Family Reunion, Bicycle Conference, and Sticker Exchange is upon us!
Added some images for you to save so we can save some trees. All the details you've been craving and I've been withholding, just like the good ole days.
We’ve got QR codes to the routes with Trailforks and RidewithGPS. The course is not marked so if you can’t figure it out ride with someone slower and smarter than you. The weekend itinerary is on there. A map of camp with a few ground rules I mention on behalf of the ranch. And hopefully a few laughs.
If you are bringing a trailer we appreciate you parking your tow vehicle in the additional parking area once you’re set up. Same request for passenger cars not being used for sleeping. We would like to maximize the amount of people who can fit in that larger area. The additional smaller area can also be used for camping.
On Friday check-in and hang out at The Orehouse Hilltop Tavern (parking lot not trailer friendly, probably drop it at the ranch first). Enjoy some beverages and maybe some grub before heading over to camp.
There are a few other dining options in town if you show up hungry. The Oracle Patio Cafe and Market is a great spot to sit down for a meal or grab some local meat, produce, baked goods, sandwiches, etc. Casa Rivera has the bomb Mexican food. DiMarco’s for Italian. And don’t forget about the Oracle Inn and Steakhouse. Caffeinated cravings can be satisfied at Way of Bean Coffee Club. Check out Visit Oracle for more info and suggestions about the town's bustling nightlife.
If you plan to cook at camp please shop beforehand. Oracle has dollar stores but the nearest grocery store is about 20 minutes away.
We will be camping at Triangle L Ranch. Light up outfits, costumes, glow sticks, and the like are encouraged for the evenings.
Beer from MotoSonora, Dragoon, Oskar Blues, and Sierra Nevada.
Please make sure you charge your lights (including tail lights) for a Friday night GLOW-STICK EASTER EGG SPOOKY SCAVENGER HUNT and to ride between the camp and bar (2.6 miles).
Pre-ride breakfast is provided Saturday. We will have the beloved Paul Components Aid Station along the route with drinks and snacks as well.
At breakfast there will be totes for you to leave warm clothes for the evening. You should have time to return to camp after the ride, but warm clothes left in totes will be brought to the bar.
After ride party at The Orehouse with catered food and live music.
