Directions for How to Get Started on GoSchoolBox for Tutors/Tutees

(All notifications will go to you SRVUSD Email only!)

HOW TO SIGN UP (FOR TUTORS):

Click this video or follow the steps below.

1) Go to the website: https://srv.goschoolbox.com

2) Click "Become a Tutor" button

3) Fill Out Information

(your requested date will automatically be a recurring weekly meeting)

4) SUBMIT

(should get a notification email that you've signed up)

5) Wait for An SRV Peer Tutoring Administrator to pair you with a Tutee

(you will receive a notification email when you've been paired w/ contact info)


*Tutoring Sessions are weekly recurring events based on the date initially requested for tutoring. Please email sr.peertutoring@gmail.com to change meeting dates.

*If you would like to have additional meetings that you coordinate on your own with your Tutee click on the "How to Book Tutoring Sessions" tab below

HOW TO SIGN UP (FOR TUTEES):

Click this video or follow the steps below.

1) Go to the website: https://srv.goschoolbox.com

2) Click "Get A Tutor" button

3) Fill Out Information, then Click "Get Started"

4) Fill Out Information, then Click "SUBMIT"

(should get a notification email that you've signed up)

5) Wait for An SRV Peer Tutoring Administrator to pair you with a Tutor

(you will receive a notification email when you've been paired w/ contact info)

How to Book Tutoring Sessions (Tutors Only):

Creating Additional Tutoring Sessions (must be done by tutors)

Based on your sign up information, recurring weekly tutoring sessions are automatically created. However, if you would like to have additional tutoring sessions with your tutee outside of these times, please follow this process.

1) Go to the website: https://srv.goschoolbox.com

2) Log in (first make sure you create an account as listed above)

3) Click "sessions" in upper right corner

4) Click "book sessions"

5) Fill out form

(should get a notification email that you've booked your session)

6) Done!

(You now have an additional tutoring session. Your tutee will be notified via email before the session, but please remind them as well.)

How to Join the Sessions

1) Go to the website: https://srv.goschoolbox.com

2) Log in (first make sure you have created an account)

3) Click "sessions" in upper right corner

4) Click "Join Session"

  • Whiteboard: draw, erase, change colors, and make shapes

  • Upload an image or PDF worksheet

  • Graph Functions and write equations

  • Set a timer
