When watching the video, think about the depth of digital literacy skills that students need today and in the future.

2. Review this Google for Education resource

Digital Literacy Level 1: The Basics

• direct link to Advanced (teachers who are familiar with Google in the classroom)

Think about how you could apply digital literacy in your classroom.

Once you are logged into the Fundamentals or Advanced courses, you do not need to complete every lesson. You are certainly welcome to complete the online course, though. Please just work through the areas that interest you and where you would like to grow as an educator.

Personally, I have earned certification in Level 1 (Fundamentals) and Level 2 (Advanced) as a Google Certified Educator. So, highly recommend the tutorials.

3. Complete the embedded Google Form connected to below and submit as your "exit ticket" for this module.

Google Forms are an excellent resource for student exit slips or checks for understanding. This form is an example of using Google resources to support digital literacy.

In approximately 48 hours or less after you complete the form, you should receive a grade in your district email using the Google Add-on for forms called Flubaroo.
