Condor, a German airline has announced a daily service into the 2 week old SRM Airport! They will operate their boeing 757-300's, and they are planning to share gate A1 and A2, primarily used by Icelandair, and Spirit Airlines.

Starting on July 6th, Iceland's flagship carrier, has announced the launch of a new route to the United States, connecting Keflavik International Airport (KEF) with Syracuse/Rome International Airport (SRM) in upstate New York. This new service will operate three times weekly, providing travelers with more convenient options for both leisure and business travel.

The introduction of this route marks Icelandair's first foray into the upstate New York region, expanding its footprint in North America. The choice of Syracuse/Rome International Airport, centrally located between Syracuse and Rome, NY, positions Icelandair to serve a diverse population and tap into the region's growing economic and tourism sectors.
