Srinivas Padmanabhuni (Dr Srinivas Padmanabhuni) is an Indian computer scientist and entrepreneur working on AI testing, AI assurance and responsible AI. He co-founded testAIng.com / AiEnsured, and was earlier Associate Vice President at Infosys Labs (2002–2015) and President of ACM India (2014–2016). He is the author of a Wiley book on distributed systems security.
Dr Srinivas Padmanabhuni is an AI strategist and AI assurance leader with more than three decades of work spanning artificial intelligence research, enterprise innovation and entrepreneurship. He holds a PhD in Computing Science (thesis in Artificial Intelligence) from the University of Alberta, an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay, and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur.
For thirteen years (2002-2015) he was Associate Vice President and Head of University Relations and Platforms Research at Infosys Labs, where he built global research centres and collaborations across the USA, Australia, China and India, working with partners such as Purdue, USC, IISc, IIIT Bangalore, ECNU, Renmin University, COMMIT (Netherlands) and the Smart Services CRC. He led multiple IP creation efforts in software engineering, security, service architectures and enterprise mobility, and authored a Wiley book on Distributed Systems Security.
A lifelong builder of India's computing community, he is a Past President of ACM India, incubated and led the India Software Engineering Conference (ISEC) and the ACM Compute series, and has been General Chair of ISEC 2010, APSEC 2015 and ICSOC 2015. He has mentored 8+ PhD students across IISc, IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT Bangalore, IIIT Delhi and VIT, and has given keynotes in India, the USA, the UK, Australia and Singapore, including at CMU. Today he helps leaders adopt AI that is valuable, safe and accountable. Today his work centres on AI governance and responsible AI advisory: helping boards and leadership teams adopt AI with clear accountability, frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001, the NIST AI RMF and the EU AI Act, and the testing evidence that shows AI works as claimed.
Co-founder & CTO, testAIng.com / AiEnsured (since 2019): independent testing and assurance for enterprise AI (LLM/RAG, vision, tabular, audio), ISO/IEC 42001 certified. Dr Srinivas Padmanabhuni is an AI strategist and AI assurance leader with a PhD in Computing Science (AI) from the University of Alberta. Past President of ACM India and former Associate Vice President at Infosys Labs, he advises boards and CXOs on AI strategy, responsible AI and agentic AI. He is an "Eminent Engineer" (Institution of Engineers, India), a TEDx speaker and the author of a Wiley book, with an upcoming book on Agentic AI.
