This Privacy Policy explains how the "Sri Mata" mobile application
("the App") handles information.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
All app activity stays on your device.
2. On-device Data
The App stores the following on your device only:
• A list of shlokas you have marked as "Learned"
• Your last viewed shloka (used to resume from where you left off)
• Your text size and script preferences
This information is never sent off your device. Uninstalling the App
deletes it.
3. Audio and Images
The App plays bundled audio recordings and shows bundled devotional
images. Nothing is streamed or downloaded after install.
4. Permissions
The App requests the following permissions:
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK — required
so audio playback continues when the screen is off.
• Notifications — used only to show the lock-screen media controls.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any
information from children or anyone else.
6. Third-party Services
The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking.
7. Changes to this Policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at
this URL.
