I have joined as faculty at Department of Chemical Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology in August 2021. My research interests are to study asphaltenes inhibitors, hydrogen storage, drug delivery systems in metal systems using molecular dynamics simulations. I have taught Mass Transfer-1, Chemical Reaction Engineering, (UG) and Computational Methods in Chemical Engineering (PG) courses.

I have joined as Research Associate in Department of Chemical Engineering, University College London, Torrington Place, London  in July 2018. At UCL, I work with Prof. Michail Stamatakis on method development of kinetic Monte Carlo for GPU and FPGA architectures.

I was a Ph.D. research scholar at Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India (2012-2018) and Prof. Abhijit Chatterjee was my thesis advisor. My research interests are to study semiconductor and metal systems using molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations. I have studied the phase behavior, segregation behavior, mixing nature and the species distribution in binary and ternary metal alloy nanoparticles with the help a nano-thermodynamic model. Also, an improved embedded atom method (EAM) interatomic potential is developed to capture the accurate mixing behavior and cross-potential interactions. Another important contribution is the development of an accelerated molecular dynamics method called temperature programmed molecular dynamics (TPMD) to access the long timescale (rare) events. I have received Ph.D. degree in 2018.

I have received B.Tech. degree from B V Raju Institute of Technology (2009), JNTU Hyderabad, India and M.E. degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (2012)
