Chathura Kavindu Bandara built the Sri Lanka Calendar 2026 app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Chathura Kavindu Bandara at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.
A. User-Provided Data (Stored Locally) Our app allows you to create personal events, notes, and reminders to manage your daily tasks.
Storage: All data you input (including Event Titles, Descriptions, Dates, and Times) is stored locally on your device using an internal secure database.
Privacy: We do not transmit, upload, or sync your personal event data to any external server. Your schedule stays 100% private on your phone. If you uninstall the app or clear app data, this information will be deleted permanently.
B. Android Permissions To provide specific features, the app requires the following permissions:
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to display alerts for your scheduled tasks and holidays.
USE_EXACT_ALARM / SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: This app is a productivity tool that includes a personal Task Scheduler. We use this permission to ensure your reminders ring at the exact time you set. Without this, notifications could be delayed by the Android system.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used to re-schedule your reminders automatically if you restart your phone, ensuring you don't miss any tasks.
INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used solely to fetch non-personal configuration data (such as welcome messages) via Firebase Remote Config.
C. Third-Party Services The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or your device for technical purposes (e.g., app updates, configuration, crash reporting). Link to privacy policy of third-party service providers used by the app:

Fetch the latest welcome messages and dynamic background updates via Firebase Remote Config.
Ensure the app content remains up to date without requiring a full store update. Note: Your personal task data is never sent over the internet.
This Service does not explicitly use “cookies”. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device.
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information (which is stored locally), thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to do necessary actions.
I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
