This is a recurrent event that started with the support of the ERC project GeoMeG (Geometry of Metric Groups), with Enrico Le Donne as Principal Investigator.
The general plan is to bring together international researchers working in various areas of mathematics with connections to sub-Riemannian geometry or, more generally, metric geometry. The 2025 meeting will focus on scientific applications of sub-Riemannian geometry. Examples of topics are Machine Learning, Modelling, Numerics, Finance, Diffusion processes, Mechanics, Image processing, Neuroscience, and Optimal Transport.
