ELV753: Special Modules in ET - I - Wireless Power Transfer
This course deals with modeling and design methodology for inductive and capacitive wireless power transfer systems with a focus on electric vehicle charging application. Different methodologies to mitigate coupling variations (misalignment, air-gap variation, presence of foreign object etc.) in WPT systems are discussed. The effectiveness of different design strategies are demonstrated using extensive circuit simulations and EM field simulations.
