Dr Sreejesh  Moolayadukkam

Hello, I'm a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Southern California (USC), working under the supervision of Prof. Ishwar K. Puri. I am working on electrochemical biosensors and cell printing for futuristic biomedical applications. My research interest is manipulating material properties for diverse biosensing, energy storage, and biomedical engineering applications. I explore how material manipulation affects electrochemical reactions (such as supercapacitors, lithium-ion batteries, and biosensors) and helps in biomedical applications. I also use my knowledge of materials for processing them using techniques like solution processing.

Before joining USC, I was a post-doctoral research fellow at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS) in Bangalore, India, working with Dr. H.S.S.R Matte. During this period, I co-established the Energy Materials Lab and worked on solution-processed materials for electrochemical applications. I completed my Ph.D. in Physics at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), India, under the guidance of Prof. H.S. Nagaraja. My Ph.D. research involved graphene-based materials, especially graphene and metal oxide composites, and their energy storage and biosensing applications.

I also spent time as a visiting student at the Centre for Ionics, University of Malaya (CIUM), Malaysia, focusing on secondary battery applications using different materials.
