Trough the visionary thinking of ex. MLA Hon. Shri. Shivajirao Chothe this college was founded and established under the patronage of Swami Ramanand Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Shahagad's in the year 1997-98 at Ghansawangi named Sant Ramdas Art, Commerce and Science College, Ghansawangi which in affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. Now this college has been proved to be one of the best rural colleges in Jalna District. This college in committed to impart the qualitative education and to improve overall personality of the youth nearby periphery to face the challenges and have an employment in the competitive modern world. Hard working, young, skilled, devoted and intelligent teaching and non teaching staff is the asset of the college, who are supportive one for the students which promotes enthusiasm in higher education, so that college had taken a giant leap in the development area within a short period of time.

Jalna District in one of the educationally backward districts in Maharashtra and India too. Our teaching and non-teaching staff frequently visits nearby villages and promotes, encourages, initiates inspires the guardians and students to have a qualitative higher education. Through the activities of N.S.S., continuous education and extension department, sport, cultural activities etc. students are oriented and motivated. We have privilege of having the title of the Best Rural College in youth festival since last five years as a special identity at the district and the University level. Now these students are proving their abilities and proved as good artists in the area of drama and movie so that their contribution is supportive for film industry as well as drama.

Though situated in rural area the College is characterized with rich library, update infrastructure, graduate and post graduate courses, highly qualified staff as skilled human resource, competent guidance centre for competitive exam, audio- visual sets, computer lab, internet connectivity facility, which empowers the quality of the students. Since last fifteen year college is recognized as one of the best educational institutes which had given best officers, qualitative leadership, doctors, engineers, teachers, artists and the most import a civilized human being to the society and nation.
