Scope of the workshop

The 17th workshop on Topological Matter, organized by Center for Topological Matter at POSTECH, will provide an exciting opportunity to discuss recent progress on quantum materials and their novel phenomena with an emphasis on topological matter. Due to Covid 19 pandemic, this workshop will be held online/offline hybrid.

Major topics that will be treated in the workshop include, but are not limited to

• Low dimensional quantum materials including graphene, semimetal, two dimensional materials, and oxide thin films

• Novel quantum transport phenomena in mesoscopic devices

• Advanced microscopy and spectroscopy on low dimensional quantum materials

• Electronic structure calculations and experimental identifications

• Magnetism and spintronics in low-dimensional magnets and thin films

• Recent progress in theory on topological matter.
