Dr. Shailendra Rajput is an Associate Professor at College of Engineering, Xi'an International University, Xi'an, China. Dr. Rajput is also associated with Ariel University, Israel as Research Fellow (Honorary).

Dr. Rajput received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. (Physics) degrees from the Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar (India) in 2006 and 2008, respectively. Later, he received the M. Phil. (Physics) degree from the School of Physics, Devi Ahilya University, Indore (India) in 2009. Dr. Rajput received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Physics, Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi (India) in 2014.

His main research work is associated with Energy harvesting, Solar energy, Energy storage, Ferroelectricity, Piezoelectricity, and biomedical application of electromagnetic waves. He is the author/co-author of 52 peer-reviewed research papers in international journals and 7 peer-reviewed papers in the conference proceedings. He also presented research work at 17 conferences of national/international repute.
