Format Details

• The Star Realms abbreviation game format uses a single uppercase letter abbreviation to represent each set. 

• Expansions are grouped together into blocks that correspond to the blocks in the app. 

  • Blocks also use a single letter abbreviation, but are lowercase and followed by a dash (ie: n-, c-, f-, r-, q-, d-)

• Due to the quantity of sets, some letter abbreviations will represent multiple sets, but not within the same block.

• The game format follows this structure: (1) Base/core sets, then (2) Expansions grouped by block, then (3) Command Decks

  • Example: 

    • VW n-BF q-F + d-12

1. Base sets: Base Set (V), Colony Wars (W)

2. Expansions: 

   • From Nova block (n-): Bases & Battleships (B), Fleets & Fortresses (F)

   • From Conquest block (q-): Conquest Follower Promos (F)

3. Command Decks:

   • Command Decks (1), Command Decks 2 (2)
