The above PCB layouts have two major flaws:
1: The hole cutouts for the pins are slightly too small for the size of the pins being used, and thus, components become damaged during placement process
2: VTC's PCB process is single-layer, which means only one side of the board has the copper to solder to. This is an issue, because the radio transceivers were placed in a way that would solder to the top side of the board, which means in this case, they have nothing to solder to, which makes for a poor connection.
If I were to remake these, I would re-make the pin placement for the custom parts in Eagle to account for placing the component upside-down to provide proper connections.
