Squish [EXCLUSIVE]

I just finished my squishy cowl and I loved it but I found that at the end of the row adding the chain two for the next row threw me off. So I did a continues stitch and did not break to make the chain two. I marked the end of each row and moved it up each time and I liked that much better then the chain two. But I loved the cowl! Thank you so much for all your patterns.

I absolutely love the squish lumbar pillow. I love all unhide as do my Granddaughters and that is who I purchased 2 of the 3 squish for... the other is for me. It's my 3rd lumbar and I love them. Perfect size and perfect softness!!!

It wasn't until I was half way through making these bad boys that the perfect name came to me. I think I was in the process of smashing my third potato when the sound it made finally registered, and I had my name. You see, after the potatoes are boiled, they are placed between layers of a clean dish towel and pressed into flattened discs. At the moment the skin snaps it gives a pleasant "pop" sound, followed by a mellow "squish" as it's fully flattened.

But I wanted to try out the new squish bones, so what I did was moved the head of the bone to behind the nose, and changed the PhysBone to v1.1, and set it to have an angle limit of 0, with a Stretch Motion of 1, a Max Stretch of 0, and a Max Squish of 0.5. (Without the angle limit the nose just flops around instead of getting booped, which is not what I want!)

Yep, it's possible to have a squish on anyone. More than anything, the squish is characterized by being interested in a person and wanting to spend time with them and form a close, though not romantic, connection with them. Much like you said. :)

It did the calibration for live Z. And I honestly can't tell with my eye as I'm adjusting it if anything is actually happening, this could be in part that I'm not doing it enough for fear that I don't want the nozzle to crash into the bed... but if there is squish, my eyes aren't seeing it. If I go in the " - " range (negative) is that lowering the extruder nozzle to the bed or is it raising it? For some reason I am not under standing it at all. I've read through the entire manual and perhaps I'm just tired but I am having a super hard time seeing the "squish", "somewhat squished", "round"...etc. I know it said you should do a live Z calibration if you switch sheets (I have both smooth and textured) or move the printer. But should this also be done before ANY print. IE: I print one object. If I print the same object a second time would I do a live Z adjustment or ONLY if I am printing a second object that is different?

Last year I had an X30 from a reputable builder, and the squish was set to the minimum legal limit, so I would go that route. Depending on the base gaskets you use they may compress slightly after being torqued for the first time, so double check that you are still legal after making the change.

For this season I set the squish in my 175 sse to 0.78mm. Stock combustion chamber shape/ volume. The motor ran fine, (usually ) didnt detonate, used 98 octane pump fuel that we have here in Finland with 4.5% oil ratio. Ran it too lean few times and after 70 liters of fuel opened the cylinder. The head was fine - the piston showed erosion on the edges. Two things : because of my carb adjustments and (maybe ) because I had machined the squish so it would open 0.15mm by the lenght of the squish band towards the chamber. I could see where the ejection stream had hit the chamber. That area was clean. But there was a ring of carbon at the squish band exit area. My reasoning is that this carbon area is fuel that is burning/compressing the mixture in the squish band near the cylinder wall = the edge gas detonates or burns at high temperature. In my mind I would like all mixture to burn at the center of the chamber. I dont want anything burning at the piston edges

Week or two ago machined the head so that squish matches the piston angle and set the squish to 0.62mm ( contact tolerance for my motor is a bit under 0.5mm) The ejection stream became super strong. And fast - so fast that I now propably have too much timing at very low rpms. I need to retard the ignition at low revs and check what happens. Here I am talking about warm up lap speeds when cruising around the track and warming up the engine - the engine is a bit too harsh. BUT on high revs this thing SINGS. What a beautiful sound. Its like a proper racing 2 stroke like Schwants Rainey Doohan rode. It definately sounds different to the previous angled squish heads. Its sharper than a very sharp thing. And I love love love it After a day took the head off and there was no signs of contact or detonation. Used some toluene to be safe so havent tried with pump fuel. Power wise I dont know - havent dynoed with this squish. I dont know is this a long term success but well see

Good mark on the radius. I have been thinking how it effects. At the moment theres a radius at the edge - (just ) slightly bigger than in the stock head but not much. I didnt want to change the radius just changed the squish angle to see what happens and where it shoots

In my previous angled heads the tighter the squish, higher the compression, the lower the rpm range. With stock ignition. Stock tillotson carb. There propably could have been more revs with more timing retard and a bigger carb. And different exhaust

The previous head (squish gap that opened towards the sparkplug ) wasnt this harsh with stock ignition timing at low revs. I dont recall I ever made note that its hitting against itself like this current head

0.80mm (30 thousandths of an inch) is not a crazy tight squish for a race 85. It sounds like something else caused the rod bearing to go. How many hours were already on the bottom end? What fuel, oil, and ratio are you running?

Currently have 160hrs on a '22 85sx, have always run 50:1 Lucas semi-syn with 91 Ca. pump gas at .032" squish. The original crank was rebuilt for preventative maintenance at 110hrs and was still tight.

At 2:40 he presses control t or in my case command t to transform, but he is then able to squish the image from both sides, where as i only squish the image from one side.
