How can I order a Commission?

When do commissions open?

Commissions are not open on a schedule-- they open depending on Kam’s workload. Commissions will first be announced on Patreon . Patreon subscribers get priority by first hearing about openings. If there are any slots left, these will be announced and open on FA.

How do I get a slot?

Subscribe to our Patreon to hear about slots when they first open. Announcements will also be made on FurAffinity (Patreon subscribers get priority). Once slots open, you simply fill out THIS form. If Kam chooses your commission, we (Kam or Espresso) will contact you for more information.

How does the artist choose which commission to do? (How do I get mine picked?!)

First, please make sure the form is filled out correctly and in its entirety. Follow the directions! Read the FAQ. Any further questions, you can ask @Rainy_Dog on Telegram.

There is no one way to get your commission picked. Kam will choose what they want to work on based on a variety of factors that can change at any time, including commission type, characters, aesthetic, theme, whatever. Kam has the right to refuse any commission at any time for any reason. Please do not ask Kam why they did not choose yours. See previous.

My commission wasn’t picked!

If you followed directions, read the ToS, correctly filled out the form, and did not include any of the WILL NOT draw items, try again next time! Kam has limited time and slots, and there are many reasons they may not have picked your piece this time. Kam is a human with human preferences and whims. Kam has the right to refuse any commission at any time for any reason. Please do not ask Kam why they did not choose yours.

Will you draw THIS?!

Please read our Will/Will Not List first. If your commission clearly includes one of the WILL NOT draw items-- no, Kam will not draw it. If you are unsure, you are free to ask @Rainy_Dog on telegram for clarification. We don’t bite or kink shame! However, please understand that there are some things that Kam will not draw. (This is not a reflection of you, this is just because Kam is human and has things they won’t draw. Period.) This does not reflect on you, but do not whine, harass, try to persuade us to change our minds. A “no” is a “no” and if you don’t know what consent is (yes, even in the context of art), you will be warned ONCE and then blocked.

Payment Information and Process

• All prices and payments are in USD via Paypal only

• Payment made after sketch approval for anything Cell-shaded and above (not loose shade or colored Sketch)

• Split payment for: anything over $300 may be split into two payments two weeks apart (Commission will not be finished until full payment received)

• Refund policy: Because payment is not made until after sketch approval, NO REFUNDS available except under crazy, extenuating circumstances granted at ARTIST'S DISCRETION. If you have an issue, please reach out to us. Thanks!

• Blacklist policy: any violation of ToS or Paypal chargebacks may result in automatic blacklist

References

Please remember: I am able to only work from the images and descriptions you provide.

When commissioning me, I will need exact reference material. This means what you give me is what you get, unless you state otherwise in your form. This means you can give me a reference image and say "But I would like the horns to look like -insert another image- here."

• Acceptable references include: reference sheets, digital/drawn artwork of the character

• Commissions based only on the following references will incur an additional 10% of the Commission price: text descriptions, partial artwork of the character, fursuits, 3D art of the character (IMVU, SL, etc.), collage art NOTE: this extra charge does NOT occur for Character design commissions only

• Refs I will NOT work from: IRL people

Turnaround / Timing / WIPs

• Please check out the current queue and calendar for more general info.

• Approximate turnaround time is 2 weeks- 1 month for smaller projects and 1-3 months for larger projects

• All WIPS available on Trello. You may also contact us any time for a WIP or with questions!

Publication and Rights

• TLDR: My art is mine; your characters are yours.

• Unless otherwise arranged or stated, all my artwork is for personal use ONLY.

• Private Commissions ARE available for an extra 30% of total price (not base price).

• You MAY: use my art as a desktop background for your personal computer, post art you have commissioned from me in your FurAffinity or other art sites (NOT inkbunny) galleries with a link back to me and watermark intact, use art you have commissioned from me as a Telegram or other icon (with watermark intact), as telegram stickers, color a sketch or lines you have commissioned from me and repost it with proper credit and a link back to me, print artwork you have commissioned from me for personal (NOT to sell) use.

• You MAY NOT: trace and/or copy ANY part of my artwork and claim it as your own, sell my artwork, sell any part of my artwork or claim it as your own, use my art for ANY commercial purposes unless specifically commissioned for that purpose, use my artwork as a tattoo unless specifically discussed and agreed upon, steal my artwork for adopts, use my artwork as a roleplaying character reference unless you commissioned it, alter any of my artwork without my or my art manager's direct written permission, repost my artwork anywhere in any way not listed in "you MAY" section.

• My work is NEVER to be redistributed/altered/traced/used in anyway, for any reason without my consent. While you hold rights to the characters drawn, the artwork is mine, and thus, protected. If you wish to commission me for COMMERCIAL purposes, contact us and we can discuss it further.
