Last updated: February 7, 2026
Developer: Flowbit Labs
Introduction
Welcome to SQUATUP (“we”, “our”, “us”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application SQUATUP (the “App”).
Information We Collect
(a) Personal Data
We do not collect, store, or share personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
(b) Usage Data
To improve the app experience, we may collect limited, anonymous usage data such as:
App version and device model
Basic interaction data (for example, feature usage, session length, button taps)
Crash logs and performance analytics (through Google Play services or similar tools)
This data is not intended to directly identify you and is used to enhance app performance, stability, and reliability.
(c) Advertising & Billing Data
If the App displays ads via Google AdMob or similar networks, those providers may collect advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to show personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
The App may also use Google Play Billing or similar services to process in-app purchases (for example, to remove ads or unlock premium features). Billing data (such as purchase history) is handled by Google according to its own policies; we do not receive your full payment details.
(d) Camera / Auto-Counting Data (If Used)
If you use auto-counting features that rely on the camera, the App may process camera frames to estimate movement or reps (for example, using on-device processing such as pose estimation).
On-device Processing: We do not upload your camera feed to our own servers.
No Raw Video Storage by Us: The App does not store or transmit raw camera video to Flowbit Labs.
User-Initiated Actions Only: If you choose to save or share something (e.g., a summary or exported result), that action is initiated by you.
(e) Workout Sessions & App Content
SQUATUP may store workout-related records such as rep counts, session duration, and completion status.
On-device Storage: Session history and settings are stored locally on your device.
No Upload by Us: We do not upload your workout records to our own servers.
Sharing is User-Initiated: If you choose to share content (for example, via the system share sheet), that content may be processed by the destination app/service under their own privacy policies.
(f) Local App Data (Settings & Preferences)
SQUATUP may store the following information locally on your device:
App settings and preferences (for example, language selection, UI options)
Recent session history (for example, rep counts, durations, timestamps)
This information is stored only on your device using local storage technologies (such as SharedPreferences, local databases, or similar). We do not sync this data to our own servers.
(g) Clipboard / Sharing Features (If Used)
If the App provides copy or share-related features, any copied content is handled through system services on your device. We do not receive clipboard contents.
Data Storage and Security
We do not store user data on our own servers. App settings and workout history are stored locally on your device.
No personal data is transmitted externally by us, aside from what is handled by third-party services (such as ads, analytics, and billing) under their own policies.
We take reasonable measures within the scope of a mobile app to protect the data stored on your device, but you are also responsible for keeping your device secure (for example, using a lock screen, keeping your OS up to date, and preventing unauthorized access).
Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services that can collect information used to identify you or your device. These include (but are not limited to):
Google AdMob – for displaying ads
Google Play Services – for analytics, crash reporting, and basic diagnostics
Google Play Billing – for handling in-app purchases
These third parties have their own privacy policies that govern how they use your data. We encourage you to review their policies before using the App.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information. Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
