45th CS Cadet Commander
CADET MAJOR JACOB PELISSERO, CAP
C/Maj Jacob Pelissero is the Cadet Commander, 45th Composite Squadron, March Air Reserve Base, CA. He acts as the most Senior Cadet Liaison to the Squadron’s Senior Staff and is responsible for setting the Cadet Programs’ goals, establishing and enforcing plans and procedure, and directing the Cadet Corps.
C/Maj Pelissero joined Civil Air Patrol as a cadet in September of 2019 at the Coeur D'Alene Composite Squadron of Idaho Wing. He completed his basic encampment in July of 2021 and returned as Squadron Commander in 2023. He has served in over 10 various roles within his Squadron, embracing opportunities to teach and learn. He has participated in numerous Civil Air Patrol Activities, including National Blue Beret and numerous Search & Rescue Missions and Execises. In addition to his staff roles, C/Maj Pelissero holds many Emergency Services qualifications, and can support operations from the ground, air, or mission base.
Outside of Civil Air Patrol, C/Maj Pelissero is a Student, Drone Pilot, and Aircraft Dispatcher at California Baptist University in Riverside. There, he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Flight. He hopes to become a Captain at a Major Airline. He is a Private Pilot soon to have be Instrument Rated, and serves at the annual Harvest Crusades with his father.
