If you are interested in working with us:
as a summer intern - we usually take 1 summer intern for short 2 months long project. Please send me an email before 31st Jan with your CV. Students who prefer to get support for their stay are encouraged to apply through the academy. Details are given here.
for your Master thesis project - we usually take 1 student (from IISc or outside) who are interested in carrying out a year-long Master's thesis project. Please send me an email with your CV and a brief note on your research interests. IISc does not provide accommodation to external-thesis-student, so please be prepared to support yourself.
as an integrated or regular PhD student - IISc has an integrated PhD program. Please check admission's page to get more details. I usually announce on my webpage when there are openings for PhD students. If you are selected as int-PhD, PhD, or PMRF student, you are welcome to send inquiry email about open-PhD positions anytime after the selection process.
as post-doctoral researcher - We are always looking for highly motivated post-doctoral fellows. There are several post-doctoal fellowships options available such as N-PDF, DSK-fellowship and INSPIRE. Please send me your CV and a statement of research. If you are interested in working with us through C V Raman Postdoctoral Fellowship, please note that we are looking for candidates who have prior experience in at least one of the following areas -- low-temperature physics, nano-scale fabrication, microwave design, VHDL/Verilog.
