Waitlist

• Students who do NOT get assigned to their first choice school , will automatically be placed on that school’s waitlist.

• Students may only be on ONE waitlist.

• If a student has been on a waitlist for another school prior to balloting for grade 9, they will be removed from that waitlist and placed on the new waitlist if they did not get their first choice.

• Parents may have their child moved to a different school’s waitlist by submitting a High School Waitlist form at anytime. 

HOW ARE WAITLISTS ORGANIZES?

• After balloting and students are assigned to a school, the waitlist will be generated by the end date of the lottery.

• All other waitlist requests will be entered based on the date the new form is completed.
