Sibling Preference
Sibling Preference
The 5th or 8th grade student has an OLDER brother or sister (who lives at the same address with at least one common parent).
The OLDER sibling (brother or sister) will continue to attend the same school during the next school year. If the sibling is currently a senior this year, and graduating it does not count as a sibling preference assignment.
To enter the sibling on the ballot, you must enter their DOB and SPS student ID number.
Those applicants who indicate siblings ON THE BALLOT will be verified.
You MUST BALLOT even if there is an older sibling attending the preferred school. Your child will not be automatically assigned to a school because you have an older sibling attending that school.
*Cousins are not siblings.
