How do you get Putnam Score?
Putnam Scores are calculated based on grades and attendance.
40 points Attendance
40 points Grades
The maximum qualifying score is 80.
The minimum qualifying score is 46.
Students will be placed from the highest to the lowest score.
You will not be able to choose PUTNAM as a first choice if your child does not have a qualifying score of 46 or above. The choice will not appear on the ballot.
Students will be admitted to PUTNAM in the order of their Putnam score (highest to lowest).
Even if your child has a qualifying score, if there is no available space at Putnam, the student will be placed on the waitlist.
